Want to dig into why data and audience targeting are at the core of creative marketing? Ready to mull over the best strategies for executives building their brand? Passionate about how nonprofits can raise their profile to make a bigger impact?

Then Laurie Ehrlich is your person.

Laurie is a 22-year marketing and communications veteran who brings together a data-driven mindset with creative multi-channel marketing strategy and planning, content creation, cross-team collaboration, corporate communications, and digital media.

She’s worked across the non-profit, education, technology, financial, and publishing industries, implementing integrated solutions based on focused audience research and managing brand identity and reputation.

Bridging storytelling with airtight strategy, Laurie excels at launching robust marketing campaigns that compel people to act. Throughout her career, she’s built the marketing department of a $60 million non-profit from the ground up, constructed the social media presence of multiple organizations, led the design and development strategy process for more than a half-dozen websites, established and grown multiple content channels including blogs, podcasts, whitepapers, and more. She easily pivots from high-level strategy to ‘down and dirty’ tactics. She also led crisis communications and managed ongoing communications strategy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A friend and partner to the C-Suite, Laurie has planned and marketed medical meetings alongside renowned physicians at the Cleveland and Mayo Clinics, worked side-by-side with advertiser and agency execs to further the goals of the advertising industry, and developed programs for utility industry executives to better understand how to integrate solar energy into the grid.

Laurie loves sharing her passion for marketing with others. She’s a judge at the annual InspiredSM Brilliance Awards, participated on the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Brand Refresh Committee, and is the marketing lens on the Capital Camps’ lay committee. She’s also a thought leader with a speaking resume that includes the Finalsite University user conference and ASAE’s Marketing, Membership, and Communications Conference.

When Laurie isn’t digging into marketing strategy, she stays busy with her involvement in the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Brewer’s Ball Steering Committee, where she founded the Communications Committee, and she recently took the reins as Committee Co-Chair along with her husband, David. She and David live in the D.C. ‘burbs with their two boys who have boundless energy and are begging for a dog.
